About Us
Our Executive Director
After spending a decade working and living in South Africa, Victor D. Williams leads our efforts to promote health and wellness throughout communities in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. The Douglas Foundation (TDFI) stands with him in the fight against food deserts and food insecurity and promotes long-term sustainable, equitable community development to improve the quality of life for Senior citizens and Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) families.
In 2008, while assigned to the U.S. Embassy in South Africa, Victor was recognized and honored with the Avis Bohlen Foreign Service award at a celebration hosted at the U.S. State Department in Washington, DC, for advancing U.S. interest overseas and by effecting change in the lives of South African youth.
He now brings that level of dedication, commitment, and experience to help improve the quality of life for Senior citizens and families in historic Black urban communities. Please check out his LinkedIn for additional information.
